BARNSTAPLE (UNITED SERVICES) GREYHOUND STADIUM

The North Devon town of Barnstaple has had two greyhound tracks in the past with the earliest being on the United Services Ground on Pottington Road and situated at 4° 4' W 51° 4' N. The first meeting was held in 1931, with sprints taking place over 275 yards, and longer tests over 375 yards.
